At the heart of Fairwell Records is a 24-track digital facility in the middle of the Bastrop woods in Texas. Originally built as a jam room, the studio quickly attained pro status and took on projects such as Donal's "What Happened to the Beautiful Psycho (?)" CD, James Oliver's "Casa" and Steel Soul's seft-titled debut.Fortunately, Steel Soul have since split and gone their seperate ways. Their singer doesn't like them anymoahwoah . . . .

Curt Farley, the owner of Tall Tree,  is currently in the process of recording Yawn's second album. (He's also ripping out a few walls and expanding the studio but that's nothing new - The man is naked without a hammer in his hand). Future projects may include The Hoppers (if Charlie can ever decide on an arrangement) and possibly another collaboration with John Groovebox Jansen of "Critical Mass" fame.
